I needed to make a few Mother's Day cards in a snap, as in like "Gee, I need cards for tomorrow!" and here is what I cooked up! I used a mixture of
SU Bloomin' Beautiful and
Bloomin' With Love stamp sets. Apparently, I was in a
Bloomin' mood but just couldn't make up my mind, so when in doubt use them both!
This beautiful dainty background paper is an old
SU DP, and it reminds me of country wallpaper in a welcoming bed-n-breakfast - that's my story and I'm
stickin to it! I lightly stippled my stamped image with Antique Linen to highlight the spring yellows! I love it!
The tabbed sentiment looks like tiny typewriter print - remember back when the old typewriter keys looked like that? I must be feeling nostalgic today or something!
Inside of card to match! Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers out there!

Those cards are lovely! You're much more patient than I am. :)
ooooooooooh! i LOVE cards that have the insides decorated in a coordinating fashion! (i usually forget that bit until the veryVERY last minute, and wind up just writing a greeting in smeary pen...i should work on that...) and these are particularly cool, i must say. i would definitely NOT have known these were "last minute" cards!
ps: so WITH YOU on the subj of funky old typewriter keys...enough that i sprang for a vintage portable at a yard sale last year...(& i LOVE it!) :)
These are lovely! Thanks for the inspiration to blow the dust off of that stamp set and get it inked up ... makes such a lovely card!
